COVID-19 & Back to work
A warm welcome back, before you start work again we need to discuss the changes we have made following the COVID-19 pandemic. Following government guidelines we have inspected, assessed and implemented changes at all our workplaces to make them COVID secure.
We have developed various procedures and risk assessments to identify how we are managing the risk of COVID-19 in the workplace, before you start work please familiarise yourself with these (more details below). A reminder of the basic controls are as follows:
Don’t not come to work if you or your household are unwell – report your illness to your line manager, self-isolate and book an NHS test and await the results.
When at work follow social distancing and hygiene guidelines at all times.
Should further measures be required (e.g. screens etc) raise these with your line manager or the SHEQ team.
If you are office based, before returning to work, please review SOP 99 - COVID-19 and familiarise yourself with the steps we are taking to keep you safe.
The SOP can be found on the landing page of Ezone, under the heading Key Articles. Here you will find registers of all current policies and procedures.
Select the Standard Operating Procedure Register which will open a PDF register of all current company procedures. SOP 99 is located at the bottom of the list and should be reviewed prior to returning to work. This document is updated inline with government advise so be sure to check back at regular intervals so that you can stay up to date.
Steps have been taken in line with government advise around social distancing and cleaning regimes have been put in place to keep everyone safe. We have sanitising products in all entry and exit areas as well as cleaning equipment throughout the premises which you are encouraged to use prior to using your work station and after.
Please pay attention to signage located around the offices and projects and take all necessary steps to keep yourselves safe when visiting office or project locations.
